As we look ahead to the upcoming season, there is a real sense of excitement around Peel Sunset Bowling Club following some strong performances across the teams last year.
In particular, congratulations once again to the Peel Sunset C team on their fantastic achievement in winning the Division 3 league. It was a superb effort from everyone involved and a great boost for the club.
Preparations are now underway for the new campaign, and we look forward to seeing members back on the green soon.
The green will officially open on 14/03/2026.
We wish all our teams the very best for the season ahead.

Come give it a go, Round Robin Competitions & Coaching sessions
As a club we are always keen for new people to get involved. On selected Thursday evenings starting 26/03/26 we will hold a 'Come and try it' session, there will be qualified coaches there to help you and/or existing members willing to show you the ropes. All equipment will be provided and best of all it is free.
If you would like further information please email peelsunsetbc@gmail.com or somebody else.
Other contact information can be found on the Contact page
Starting 16/03/26 the club will be doing round robin competitions every Monday from 1.30pm. Keep an eye on the the 'What's on the green calendar this week' section above to keep up to date with round robin dates and times.
A round robin competition in crown green bowls is a format where each player or team plays every other player or team once. Points are awarded for each match (usually for a win), and the competitor with the highest total points at the end of all games wins the competition.
It ensures everyone gets multiple games rather than being knocked out after one loss.
This year we will be holding coaching sessions for everyone. As a club we are working out the final details and updates will be posted on here as soon as we are ready to go.
We hold a junior session on a Monday afternoon 4:15pm to 5:15pm. This is a great way for children to get involved in the game. It provides a safe space for juniors to get outdoors and do some gentle exercise.
If you or your child are interested in getting involved please contact peelsunsetbc@gmail.com or call Lynda on +44 7624 206499
